Cell phones have taken over the world. Growing up, pay phones were found on every street corner in the city. I remember standing on the corner of Main St./Windsor St. in Cambridge, on the pay phone, with a pocket full of change. Those were the days when teens battled with their parents to have their own phone line hooked up in their room. Those were the days when you got paged and had to pull over to use the phone. Those were also the days when you had to call your friends house phone in order to speak to them. Now you'd be hard pressed to find a pay phone anywhere. If we compare our cell phone bills to the amount we spent feeding the pay phone we'd discover that keeping in touch with people these days is way too expensive.
